Underpainting White (Fast Drying)

Made from Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide, ground in Linseed Oil.  Underpainting White has a fast drying rate and a coarse texture, both of which make it well suited  to heavy underpainting.  It will also, when mixed with other colours, hasten the drying rate of the resultant mixture.  It has good opacity and provide a toothy surface, and is a less hazardous alternative to Foundation White.  Linseed Oil whites will show greater yellowing that Safflower Oil whites.  The latter are recommended for final white highlights.
