Sanyi easels allow you to lift the canvas from the front so you can sit down and paint if you want to and never have to get up. The adjustments are never in your way and are permanently available to you. With virtually every other mechanical easel you either have to remove the winding mechanism or voyage to the side or back of the easel to make this type of adjustment. If you have no assistance then you have to physically lift the canvas. This is no small trick when painting large or with heavy substrates. This simply is not fun and a distraction while painting.
