The incredible Logan 450 Intermediate mat cutter combines affordability with optimal features and ease in use. With this cutter you can cut bevel mats up to 40” in size in just one pass. The base is made of high-density 3/4” thick hardboard finished in a black vinyl. It has a built in parallel mat guide that allows you to instantly set border widths from 1/2” to 4-1/2” without the need of any other measuring device! Its aluminum guide rail is serrated on its underside and this keeps your mat board from moving during the cut. The cutter either beveled or straight (both come with unit) rides on this guide rail and has an anticrawl device that prevents forward creeping of the cutting head during blade insertion and a start and stop indicator line so you know exactly where to begin and end your cut with no guess work! The straight cutting head has an ergonomic 3” handle and three depth settings for cutting light paper, board and foam boards. The 90° squaring bar is mounted to the cutter and insures that your board is square at all times. For V-Grooves purchases the #703 groover and for glass cutting purchase the #704 glass cutter under. Uses low cost A12 refill blades.
