Designed Expressly for Decorative Artists. Expressions balanced handles prevent hand and finger fatigue through hours of painting. Handles are easy to grip and resistant to staining. All brushes except for the base coater (with bristle hair) feature a special blend of varying thickness and types of synthetic filament hair, resulting in a smooth and soft feel with great resiliency and snap, and providing a split-proof point or fine tapered edge. Hair is shaped and tied by hand and then glued into 22kt gold plated seamless ferrules. Ferrules are then hand crimped to select beechwood handles that have five coats of matte turquoise lacquer. The enormous selection of shapes allows you to achieve an endless array of strokes with the greatest degree of control and ease. Although conceived for the decorative artist, fine artists find these brushes quite enjoyable to use for watercolor and close-up work while painting at an easel in oils or acrylics.
