There's no sinking, ensuring that color on Winsor & Newton canvas remains brilliant and true. 

In addition, the canvas and primer have been developed together to offer rigidity (for oil stability) and the ideal tooth for secure adhesion. 

This professional range of canvas features back stapling for clean edges and simple re-stretching. This canvas is made of an 8oz pure cotton duck which is 15% heavier than standard commercial products. Triple coated with one coat of acid-free sizing and two coats of ultra white acrylic primer. The result is a lovely medium grain surface that is ideal for all techniques. Every aspect of the canvas is superior quality, including a professional frame construction with kiln-dried wood and beveled stretcher bars, hand-stretched for ideal tension, rigidity, and cleanly tailored corners.
