C.A.S. AlkydPro Colors - 120 ml and 175 ml Tubes

For years C.A.S. has been researching and making alkyd paints. This research led to the development of C.A.S. AlkydPro. Finally, artists have another choice for alkyd-oil paint! C.A.S. AlkydPro Paint is the first line of true alkyds made in the United States, and the first line of genuine artists' grade alkyds. Unlike some fast-drying oils available today, AlkydPro paints are made entirely from an alkyd resin base. C.A.S. did not start with a traditional linseed oil paint and simply add alkyd resin — AlkydPro paints contain no linseed oil. This new improved formula for the entire line is made with a non-yellowing sunflower alkyd oil for the highest performance. This is a unique paint. C.A.S. AlkydPro is now offered in 72 luminous colors and four mediums, providing artists with a full range of color and creative potential!

These paints are not the student-grade quality that artists have come to expect from alkyd based paints. AlkydPro paints contain a similar load of pigment to that found in professional oil paint. The pigments used are of excellent quality with high lightfastness ratings. AlkydPro are a low-odor formula, containing the minimum odorless mineral spirits and the maximum pigment. AlkydPro paints dry within a few hours to 20 hours, depending on paint thickness, room temperature, etc. After drying, the surface stays flexible and durable.

C.A.S. painstakingly perfected their formula to create thick paints that are similar in consistency to oil paints. The special formulation retains brushstrokes, as well as smooth brushability. Colors are lightfast, and unlike most traditional oils, they are non-yellowing and remain brilliant long after drying. They are compatible with traditional oils and solvents.
