Weber Oil Painting Mediums and Varnishes
- "Oil Mediums and Their Uses" DVD - This DVD features fine artist Johnnie Liliedahl. She demos each of Weber's Oil Mediums; discusses what The Masters used and why; how to mix your own mediums; what cannot be mixed; plus the uses and results of all and more!
- Copal Painting Medium - Prepared from synthetic and natural resins and refined turpentine. Excellent for glazing, thin or impasto painting, and wet-on-wet techniques. May be thinned with Turpenoid or turpentine.
- Damar Varnish - This durable and flexible varnish is made from Singapore White Damar Gum. Damar Varnish gives a high gloss and strong protection, greatly increasing the brilliance of colors. Contains no artificial dryers and responds to ordinary solvents. Thin with Turpenoid or turpentine.
- LiquiGlaze - is a resin based glazing and mixing medium similar to Liquin.
- Res-n-Gel - This colorless mixing medium provides a buttery consistency. Res-n-Gel prevents colors from running, retains brush stroke and holds sharply defined lines. Adds luminosity and brilliance and accelerates drying.
- Silicone Brush Cleaner - will not remove natural oils in sable or bristle brushes and preserves the integrity of your expensive brushes.
- Sphinx Retouch Varnish - A quick drying, light bodied, colorless retouching varnish, composed of crystal clear acrylic resin. Excellent to brighten "dead areas" that have dried dull. It can also be used on paint not entirely dry, to extend the life of the paint.
- Synvar Varnish - is an acrylic gloss varnish for use with oils or acrylics.
