Winsor & Newton Artists' OILBARs and Sets Winsor & Newton Oilbars are solid oil paint in stick form for drawing and painting. All sticks measure 7/8 x 6" in size. Made of pure pigments blended with refined oil and waxes, Oilbars work smoothly on your canvas or paper surface. They are completely compatible with tube oil paints as well as alkyds, gels, varnishes and oil painting thinners. Oilbars will dry in just 2 to 5 days and during this time may be reworked. For field sketching, Oilbars give the feel and texture of tube paint but with less gear. Bring along some brushes and mediums and you have a traveling art studio with a start-up time of just seconds!
