These panels are made with the same fine products as the standard Gessoed panels but with an oil priming using an old world recipe. These panels have a lovely finish very similar to a cold pressed watercolor surface. This surface allows the oil colorist to paint in heavy layers since the surface texture grips paint extremely well.
