Many pastel artists love natural hair blenders to use while painting. This is because they are very reliable and can yield even blends across small to large areas. The only complaint was the high price tag of these blenders. Pastel Smoothies are made in huge volumes to bring the cost way down to be affordable for all pastel artists. They come in two styles:

Stiff is made from a combination of bristle and nylon hair for deep blending, even on very rough surfaces. These smoothies are also great for removing hard edges.

Soft is made of supple natural hair to facilitate a smooth, gradual blending of pastels along the surface of the paper. They can be used individually or in combination.

Sets feature a size small, medium and large brush.
Each with a seamless nickel ferrule attaced to a short lacqureed wood handle. Both allow for simple cleaning with soap and water.
