Obtaining a frame in the old world style can greatly enhance a traditional painting or portrait, but up until now, finding one hasn't been a practical exercise for most artists. These Estate Replica frames are made in the old world manner, but thanks to our source we can bring them to you at much more reasonable prices! These classic frames feature select molded lumber, built up with gesso and clay and leafed with either gold or silver. Some of the styles are also handcarved, aged with Rottenstone or given an enhanced patina using traditional methods.
