No other palette around can hold as much and still allow you to place 1" wide brushes in the well. The lid has four large basin type wells that can be used for cleaning brushes or for additional mixing area. Mural artists also use these to place large amount of fluid acrylic in them. They will hold brushes 5" wide!
Now you might have noticed in the picture that there are 10 cups set deep within the palette. The palette has 10 deep holes to set the cups completely flush to the lid allowing the cups to travel safely anywhere. Even though they are set deep the cups can be removed instantly. These 1oz cups are made with a special soft plastic so they won't break or leak and the lids come off easily avoiding annoying spills. Refill cups are sold in handy packs of 18 and may be used for your own special paint mixtures as well. For studio painting you can have two or even three of these palettes so you can always have all your favorite colors available to you.
