Tinted charcoal offers the dramatic beauty of traditional charcoal with the gentle hint of color. Combining natural charcoal particles and a small amount of color pigment with the finest clays, the pencils are wodcased for easy control and can be sharpened to a point. A the same time, they can be smudged and blended tofether to produce satisfiying deep, rich tones. There are 24 subtle colors to choose from, including white for burnishing and highlighting.
