Colors are made using organic pigments, natural white colors adds a pearlescent effect to transparent washes. Surface is lustrious and semi-absorbment.

While traveling in Vietnam we visited galleries and found one paper used extensively by artists
there that we had never seen before. The surface of the paper is slightly pearlescent giving artworks a beautiful lustrous look.
After using such a paper it is hard to go back to others.
Clearly it is one of the only thin papers that is so versatile. The calcium in the shell coating allows for wet media techniques and can be used for multimedia expressions from crayon to fluid acrylics and from inks to charcoal.
The paper is handmade, sheet by sheet and coated making each sheet unique and somewhat different then the next sheet. A complete selection of colors is available along with the natural coated sheets which have
no pigments mixed into the shell emulsion. All sheets are 20x24" in size and are available in 5
sheet packs in resealabe clear bags and in packs of 25 sheets wrapped in paper.
Also available
are two multi-media packs with 8 or 22 sheets of 10x12" cut sheets.
