Description High Performance Primer For Artists
This white gesso primer may be used on virtually any absorbent surface where paints such as acrylics, oil colors, gouache, casein or alkyds are to be painted. HP Gesso dries within minutes to a rich white surface. Covers well in one coat but two coats are recommended to create an ideal surface. Light sanding between coats is recommended. Finished surface is semi-absorbent to allow for good adhesion of all paints. Proprietary formula includes
Titanium Dioxide for a rich white color with excellent covering power. Also contains calcium carbonate and silica. Conforms to ASTM D-4236 standards.
