Regina Sanders | Artist | Teacher | ASW Shopper
Regina Sanders is an illustrator originally from Houston, TX. She started drawing at age 5 and never stopped, later majoring in Fine Art at the High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston. Upon graduation, she went to New York City and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she majored in Fine Arts & Fashion Illustration.
As an artist, Regina works in several different mediums, including oil painting, watercolor, pastel painting, print, pencil, and tapestry weaving. She also enjoys passing on her love of art to others, as evidenced by her 25 years of experience in the arts education field.
As the assistant Director of the Young Artist Programs at the Southwest School of Art, Regina coordinates the Saturday Morning Discovery Program (SMD), a free program for children ages 5-17 that allows children and their families to explore making art with professional artists who are trained to nurture creativity and imagination. In 2008, she was awarded the Woman Leadership Award for Inspiration from the San Antonio Business Journal for her work with this program.
In addition to her work with SMD, Regina also coordinates the Teen Intensive After-school Program, specializing in oil colors, which looks to develop teen's individual skills and talent through professional instruction in a serious learning environment. The majority of students in the program come from underserved school districts.

Lindsey Harnish | Emerging Artist | ASW Shopper
Library worker by day and bohemian eccentric by dusk, emerging artist Lindsey Harnish is largely self-taught. She draws inspiration for her paintings from art nouveau, art deco, the pre-Raphaelites, expressionism, pop surrealism and the impressionists. Her paintings have been exhibited all over Michigan, including Squirreled Away Books, The District VII Gallery and the Damned Art Show.

Peggy has been coloring, painting and or drawing for as long as she can remember. She teaches art to young children and enjoys exploring new media and sharing her discoveries with her students. Peggy's love of art has carried over to her daughter, who is often right beside her making her own masterpieces while Peggy is painting and drawing. Karen grew up in Chicago and graduated from Duke University in Public Policy and French. She has a Masters from GW in secondary education and is a self-taught artist creating and teaching in Raleigh, NC. Karen has done every form of art possible, from murals to mosaics to fabric art. After many years, she has discovered an artform that combines all the textural, design, and color elements she loves ... fine art representational collage paintings. Karen creates her paintings using hand-painted paper on prepared panels, and her work has recently been displayed at Raleigh's juried Artsplosure festival, where she received great feedback for her recent work.
